Hey, I’m Marek 👋

Nerdy millennial who went from geeking out over postmodern lit at uni, through social media marketing and enterprise software, to finding my ikigai as a product marketer for developer-facing startups. Always curious, always learning, and serious about craft.

I recently launched DevPMM, my Substack where I write about positioning, messaging, and storytelling for developer-facing products.

Bringing expertise across product marketing, content creation, social media, and advertising, I combine a flair for strategy and cross-functional collaboration with hands-on, LFG execution.

Below you can check out my career summary and work samples.

  • Launched a founder-led GTM motion on LinkedIn, generating 560K+ impressions, 1K+ reactions, dozens of comments, and multiple inbound opportunities.
  • Grew the founder’s LinkedIn following by 233.5% and doubled the company page follower count.
  • Consistently ship high-quality marketing assets, including multiple iterations of the homepage and sales deck, as well as social, blog, documentation, and sales enablement content.

  • In April 2025, we launched a redesigned Oxla website featuring a brand refresh. I authored all the copy and collaborated closely with the designer and dev, providing art direction and UX guidance.

Marketing Lead at Xolvio

Aug 2021 – May 2024

Xolvio is a GraphQL API consultancy and boutique software development shop. As a solo marketing lead I helped drive the company’s successful specialization in GraphQL. Starting in late 2022, I was also heavily involved in the founder’s productization efforts to create a collaborative system design platform.

Highlights

  • Launched a partnership with Apollo GraphQL, positioning Xolvio as a leading GraphQL API consultancy.
  • Crafted developer-facing thought leadership and technical content by interviewing subject matter experts and turning complex topics into engaging assets.
  • Helped drive a 558% increase in website traffic, a 56% boost in contact form conversions, and 5x growth in LinkedIn company page followers.
  • Led early marketing efforts for Xolvio’s product (now known as Auto; formerly XSpecs, later Narrative), focusing on research, positioning, messaging, and content development.

Showcase

Blog
GraphQL Summit 2022 in San Diego
  • Organized everything for our booth at the event, including fairly elaborate swag packs.
  • I came up with a tongue-in-cheek dev-focused Supergraph design and copy for the t-shirts—made people smile and chuckle, and many wore them during the event.
  • My colleague’s talk was a hit and we later turned it into a blog post. This article kept circulating in the Supergraph Champions Slack long after the event.

Marketing Manager at Asseco

Jun 2017 – Jul 2021

Asseco Group is an international IT federation, with Asseco Business Solutions being Poland’s leading ERP software vendor. Initially, I joined as social media manager but quickly transitioned into a marketing manager role, where I led a range of projects across both management and creative capacities.

Highlights

  • Led a full positioning, messaging, and website revamp for the Softlab ERP product line.
  • Crafted highly technical sales enablement material for the WMS by Asseco product.
  • Shipped multiple videos acting as scriptwriter, creative director, and project lead with an external agency.

Social Media/Marketing Project Manager at Feno

Sep 2014 – May 2017

Feno is a marketing agency based in Warsaw. Just 2 months after joining, I went from replying to Facebook comments to leading projects for the agency’s biggest client: Wizz Air, one of Europe’s leading low-cost airlines. As marketing project manager, I led projects across OOH, TV, and social media in a fast-paced environment. Later, as social media manager, I led a team of three community moderators, acted as liaison for Facebook Ads campaigns, and owned the client’s content calendar.

Highlights

  • Handled ad copy translations across 15 languages as part of Wizz Air’s rebranding campaign in 2015.
  • Single-handedly organized a professional video shoot in Portugal, managing the project remotely from Warsaw.
